The conditions this site is offered under, and the licence that governs the software it describes.
What these terms cover
They cover this website. They are not a contract: nothing here is sold, nothing is subscribed to, and there is no account to open. The software itself is governed by its licence rather than by this page, and the two are kept apart on purpose.
The software
WordScript is free software licensed under AGPL-3.0-only. That licence, and not this page, states what you may do with the program: use it, study it, change it and pass it on, under the conditions it sets out. Its own sections 15 and 16 disclaim warranty and limit liability, and they apply as written to the extent the law allows.
The source is at github.com/sw-forge-org/WordScript. If the licence and anything on this site disagree, the licence is what governs.
This site
The site's own source is part of the same repository and carries the same licence. Its text describes software under development. There is no release yet, no date for one, and nothing on this site is an offer, a promise of a feature, or a commitment to a schedule.
We do not promise that the site is reachable or complete at any given moment, and we may change or remove any part of it.
Names and logos
The licence covers the software, not the naming. WordScript, SW forge and SW labs, together with their logos and wordmarks, are not licensed by it. You may of course name the project, refer to it and link to it; what needs our agreement is using the marks in a way that suggests a fork, a rebuild or a separate product is ours.
Third-party marks shown on this site belong to their respective owners and are used to identify the platforms and systems they stand for.
Third-party material
The three typefaces served here, Archivo, IBM Plex Mono and Fraunces, are each licensed under the SIL Open Font License 1.1. The notice served with the font files names each face, its copyright holder and the licence text that travels with it. The icon sets the site draws from are credited with their licences in the source, at the module that reads each one.
Changes
We may change this page when what it describes changes. The date at the foot of it says when the whole of it was last checked.
Applicable law
German law applies. Where you are a consumer resident in another country, the mandatory protections of that country's law remain unaffected.
